What is a Faire?

Our beautiful town is a recreation of a Feast-Day in bygone times. We feature a chance to immerse yourself in a world lost and now reborn on a beautiful piece of land in Southern Connecticut. Enjoy the delicious food and drink of the day, peruse our many merchants for fine goods and wares seldom seen outside of Faire, interact with our players, learn from our educational walks and discussions, and enjoy all manner of performance and entertainment

Where is it?

We are located on Schreiber’s Farm, 648 Quaker Farms Road, in Oxford, Connecticut.  We’re within half an hour of New York and less than ninety minutes from New Jersey.

What are the hours and times?

The faire will be open from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm every weekend, with our special Saturday evening shows beginning at 7:30 on July 17th and 24th and at 6:30 on July 31st and running until late.

What does it cost to get in, and is that all-inclusive?

$15.00 for Adults 18+, $10.00 for youths aged 10-17, $5.00 for children aged 2-9, children 2 and under free, and that price includes all day-time activities.  There’s a full day of entertainment and interaction available–it’s quite a value! There is a separate charge for evening events: $10.00 separately, or $5.00 with the purchase of a day ticket.

Is there a charge for parking?

Last year, there was no charge for parking; we hope to duplicate that this year, but with the increased attendance, we may have to institute a $1 charge.  We should know for sure by June 30th.

Can we bring food or drink into the Festival?

We kindly ask you not to bring your own food. We have delicious food available for purchase within!

Are alcoholic beverages sold at the Faire?

Not this year; perhaps in the future!

How ought one tip the stage acts?

One is not required to tip, but many of our performers are new talents whose primary income is the gracious appreciation of patrons such as yourselves. So do consider bringing a bit o’ cash with you to aid those who impress you with their amazing entertaining skills!
